Member Monday: Reel Lumber Company

Reel Lumber Company has one of the richest histories of all of our members because of the longevity of their company. Established in Los Angeles in 1932, E.G. Reel began to make a name for himself and his company by providing his customers with the highest quality lumber and customer service in the region.

The company steadily grew and in 1976 they moved to Anaheim where they expanded their selections to over 36 species of lumber. In 1982-83 they grew and added a new company called Regal Custom Millwork, and added a will-call location. In 1986 Reel Lumber Company grew again and acquired an existing lumber yard in Riverside. In 1989, they grew again and moved locations of their will call due to the high demand from its customers.

In 1995 Reel Lumber Company joined the CSUF Center for Family Business as a Charter Member and the Center has enjoyed the association with them. They are currently run by the third generation of family members. Reel Lumber has become an inspirational company in Southern California due to their growth and innovation and outstanding customer service.
